Onika became a certified Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Pole Moves instructor in 2015 despite the fact that she had only begun Pole Dancing two years prior. Onika also became a certified Liquid Motion instructor in 2016. This phenom of a Pole Dancer is also a local social media favourite.
Since becoming a mother, Pole Fitness has been the ONLY exercise that has kept Onika motivated with the combination of strength and sexiness that is required to do it well. Onika admits that her first few weeks of Pole were a bit discouraging due to lack of strength then. She knew that attending class is where she needed to be to develop her muscles because “The pain you feel today is the strength you will feel tomorrow”. Onika credits her 14 years of formal ballet training for her ability to move gracefully on the pole. Onika has found that Pole Dance/Fitness has given her a boost in confidence and plans to continue participating in the sport for as long as her body will allow.
